TAYVIA NEWTON
DIRECTOR
Tayvia lives in Yorkton with her husband Andrew, and 3 yr old son Asher…and they are expecting a new baby in the spring of 2025!
Tayvia has been riding since the age of 9, and started out in a local 4H light horse club.
Between working for family businesses and raising a young family, any free time she can find is spent in the barn. Mostly training in dressage but she also loves jumping, driving, and trail riding. She works alongside her mom, Twylla Newton, at Tail Winds, where they raise, train, and show Clydesdales. Tayvia had the honor of representing the Clydesdale breed and their versatility, as the 2022 Saskatchewan Clydesdale Queen, and the 2023 Canadian Clydesdale Queen.
Tayvia continues to ride and drive a Clyde gelding, and the latest project is a coming three yr old home raised Clyde Thoroughbred cross.
Very much looking forward to learning and growing alongside the other PSHA members in the years to come!
